Roll-off Disposal Requirements

DEMOLITION DEBRIS:

NON-ACCEPTABLE

**NOTE:  This list is not meant to be all-inclusive.  Additional wastes may be prohibited as defined by each individual facility, local ordinance, or within state or federal regulations, in effect nor or in the future.

Adhesive (includes: applicators, containers, tubes)

Agricultural Chemicals or Containers

Animal Carcasses, Parts or Wastes

Appliances (includes: clothes washers, dryers, dishwashers, hot water heaters, furnaces, heat pumps, garbage disposals, trash compactors, conventional and microwave ovens, ranges stoves, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, freezers).

Asbestos Wastes

Ashes

Batteries

Caulking (includes: applicators, containers, tubes)

Cardboard

Carpet and Padding (from replacement or remodeling projects, or new scraps or reject pieces)

Fluorescent Tubes and Ballasts

Food Waste

Furniture

Glue (includes applicators, containers, tubes)

Hazardous Waste

High-Intensity Discharge Lamps

Household Refuse or Garbage

Infectious and Medical Waste

Liquids (of any type)

Machinery or Engine Parts

Mattresses

Packaging Materials (includes cardboard, paper, shrinkwrap, styrofoam)

Paints, Thinners, Solvents, Varnishes (includes applicators, brushes, cans, containers, filters, dust collectors)

Petroleum Products, Containers or Filters (includes: oil, grease, fuel)

Resins-Epoxy, Fiberglass (includes: applicators, containers, tubes)

Sandblasting Waste

Sealant (includes applicators, containers, tubes)

Sludge of any type

Street Sweepings

Tar (includes: applicators, containers, tubes)

Thermostats and Switches containing Mercury

Tires

Treated Lumber/Wood (includes decking, Railroad Ties)

Vehicles of any type

DEMOLITION DEBRIS:

 

Demolition Debris means solid waste result from the demolition of buildings, roads and other man-made structures including concrete, brick, bituminous concrete, untreated wood, masonry, glass, trees, rock, not plastic building parts.  Demolition debris does not include asbestos waste.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

Asphalt

Bituminous Concrete

Bricks

Concrete (including Re-rod)

Fencing

Masonry

Tree Stumps, Grubbing, Root Balls

Wood Pallets (untreated)

Waste Materials as part of a demolished structure and or new construction including:

Built-in Cabinetry

Ceramic Fixtures

Conduit

Glass

Insulation (fiberglass, cellulose, etc.)

Metal

Plastic

Roofing, Shingles (the wrap around your new shingles MUST GO AS TRASH!)

Tile (ceramic, floor, vinyl, etc.)

Wiring

Wood

**NOTE:  Select new construction waste (such as insulation, shingles, sheetrock, siding) may be accepted for disposal ONLY if the facility has an MCPA approved industrial solid waste management plan.

*NOTE:  Mixed loads cannot be separated at the landfill.  Mixed loads will be charged MSW (Minnesota Solid Waste) rates.
